This month’s header features President Ronald Reagan. Much like the era of the Fifties is associated with Dwight Eisenhower the 1980′s are associated with the era of Reagan and the economic recovery of the decade. The optimism and patriotism of the 80′s marked a turn away from the cynicism and crisis of confidence of the Seventies. Reagan’s conservative principle of “government is the problem” defined the political era. The RIAHPS salutes Ronaldus Magnus.
